Wynfield Plantation is the embodiment of Southern charm and hospitality.  From the moment you step into our rustic hunting lodge, you will be surrounded by the timeless look and feel of a true quail hunting experience. After a long day’s hunt, linger here and sip a glass or two of aged whiskey as you visit with old friends or make some new ones. Swap stories, make plans, and get acquainted with a legendary way of life.  Just like barbeque, sweet tea and football on a Saturday afternoon, quail hunting is a part of our lives, a part of how we grew up, and it’s a part of what being from the South is all about.  We want you to be a part of this exciting tradition, too.

Meet us each morning in the main lodge to start your day with a hearty and delicious breakfast

At 9:00 am, your Wynfield Plantation guide will arrive to pick you up in a fully equipped Jeep with dogs that are ready to go do what they do best.

Take a break from the field to come in for lunch at 12:30 pm. When you’ve had your fill of our famous southern fried chicken, you’ll want to rock awhile on our shady front porch and let the world drift past. 

Head back out into the field at 2:00 pm for an afternoon of chasing coveys and shooting birds.

After an exciting day in the field, join us at the main lodge for drinks and hors d'oeuvres followed by an exquisitely crafted dinner prepared by our seasoned chef. Our guests are often treated to Wynfield Plantation's famous quail dinner finished with a heavenly dessert. Afterwards, retire to the "pavilion" for a game of pool, poker, or just to enjoy a nightcap with your fellow hunters.

Staying at Wynfield for a night or two – or however long?  You’ll feel right at home in our well-appointed cabins that are equipped with all the comforts of home including a fireplace, living room, and small kitchen.  You can linger here in the quiet, read a book, watch the big game on TV, take a nap or just relax.
