At Wynfield Plantation, we are absolutely convinced that from the very beginning, each dog is unique in its own special way. Therefore, an individually tailored training program for any finely bred dog is of prime importance.

One of the things that all truly gifted professional trainers will agree upon is the importance of understanding and interpreting each dog as the individual he or she is. This is fundamental in establishing a training system that will enable each individual dog to clearly understand the tasks its owner and handler will ask it to perform.

These include not only the most basic training involving housebreaking, socialization, and general obedience, but the more complicated training to come that will allow each dog to clearly understand and interpret the challenges he or she will face in real world hunting situations.

At Wynfield Plantation, we are indeed fortunate to be able to pass along our many years of experience in providing the highest quality training experience, not only to each individual dog but to their owners and handlers as well.

Therefore, one of the major requirements for acceptance into the Wynfield Plantation Kennel Program is that the owner and/or handler participate in the training process along with the dog. This is explained in full detail at the time of acceptance.

This is why at Wynfield Plantation we accept a very limited number of dogs into our Kennel Program. We provide written records of every single training session.
