Puppy Information
As with all our services at
Wynfield Plantation, we guarantee 100% satisfaction for
all our dogs and kennel services. Which makes being a part
of the Wynfield Family a truly unique and fulfilling experience.
Wynfield Plantation takes every precaution to insure the quality
and purity of our blood lines. All Wynfield Plantation puppies
have a 26 month congenital health guarantee. This includes
hip and eye defects, as well as any other defect deemed to
be congenital in nature by a licensed veterinarian. All sires
and dams of Wynfield Plantation litters are required to have
validation from the Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF) and
good or better hips as validated by the Orthopedic Foundation
for Animals (OFA).
Puppies must be CERF and OFA Certified for Guarantee to be
in effect.
CERF will certify puppies at 6 weeks of age. If possible, Wynfield
Plantation will have the pup’s eyes examined before they
leave our kennel. If certification is not done prior to departure,
it must be done before the dog’s first birthday.
OFA certification can be obtained when the dog reaches 24 months
of age.
What to do if dog is suspected
of having canine hip dysplasia or inheritable eye disease:

Dog must be less that 26 months
of age.

Notify Wynfield Plantation asap

notice via certified mail. (Highway 62,

Submit a copy of findings
by OFA, CERF, or other qualified source if other congenital
defect is suspected.

Wynfield
Plantation’s Veterinarian will review findings
at our expense. (If a disagreement on diagnosis occurs,
a third veterinarian will review the findings the decision
of the third veterinarian will determine validity.)
When claim is declared
valid, the purchaser may:

Return the dog to Wynfield
Plantation, with AKC Registration
transferring ownership to Wynfield
Plantation and receive
a full refund or replacement dog of equal value.

Or- Keep the
dog and provide Wynfield Plantation proof of spaying
or neutering, and receive a refund for half of the purchase
price of the dog.

Shipping Information
In order
to assure the best possible blood lines for your dogs, it may
be necessary to ship your bitch to Wynfield
Plantation for
breeding or, if you are purchasing a future champion from Wynfield
Plantation, we can make all flight arrangements for shipping.
Wynfield
Plantation will make arrangements with the airline
offering the best, most direct route to our Kennel. We maintain
communication with the owner from pre-flight until your dog
has arrived at it’s destination. Wynfield
Plantation will make arrangement at the point of drop off
and the point of pick-up, keeping the owner informed of each
step in the journey.
STEPS TAKEN TO INSURE A SAFE
FLIGHT FOR A WYNFIELD PLANTATION FUTURE CHAMPION

Pups
are “crate
conditioned” prior to flight.
They learn to feel comfortable inside the crate.

All
crates are “airline approved” are properly
sized for the safety and comfort of the dog.
-
Crates are clearly tagged and
marked with phone numbers and addresses of both parties.

All
dogs fly Cargo and are shipped C.O.D. Owners are responsible
for all shipping related charges including the cost of the
crate. All charges and fees, other than COD shipping charges,
must be paid in full prior to shipping.
SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS
-
Dogs must
be at least 8 weeks old.

A Health Certificate, dated withing
10 days of departure, must accompany the dog. For pups, the
new owner is responsible for this fee ($35.00) which must
be paid prior to shipping.

Airlines require 24 hour notice
when booking shipment.

Shipping Crate must
be “Airline
Approved”
